Horrible MLS Photo Of The Day #378

Alone in the Dark
Always remember that your camera works a lot differently than your eye does. While the scene would look perfectly normal to the human eye, with sunlight streaming in the window bathing the room in light, this is just about the worst lighting conditions for a camera. The dark interior and the bright light is too contrasting for the camera to handle, it gets confused, and under-exposes the room, making it dark. To improve, turn some interior lights on and try and shoot with your back to the window.
