Horrible MLS Photo Of The Day #2
March 4th, 2008
I’ve been to this house. This picture does not do it any justice, it is actually a very beautiful home.

“Even The Simpsons home isn’t this yellow!”
Colour correction, people, colour correction is your friend! And try and shoot at an angle, to give the viewer some depth and scale. The two tables in the frame make the room look too small. Shoot in the daytime, and never use flash. Always use a tripod.
See all the usual suspects here.

You can use a flash if you’re bouncing it off the ceiling. That will give more even lighting to the scene and you won’t have to worry about reflections. Also make sure your white balance is set correctly.

Thanks, Russ! I guess maybe I should have said “Never use the camera’s internal flash.” Especially on a cheapie point-and-shoot digicam
